You do not need to be an experienced swimmer, but you must be comfortable in the water, pass the required medical screening and follow your instructor's directions. The instructor will assess whether diving is suitable for you.

Intro Diving Experience
Includes two supervised introductory dives, full diving equipment, lunch, water and drinks.
The child discounts apply to accompanying snorkeling guests, not introductory scuba diving. The minimum intro diving age is 10 years.
Upgrade from Snorkeling to Intro Diving
Guests aged 10 or above who booked snorkeling may ask to try introductory diving on the day. If the medical screening, instructor assessment, equipment and availability allow it, they can pay the difference between the snorkeling and intro diving rates.
Transfer Coverage & Additional Fees
Hotel pickup and return within Hurghada city are included.
Additional transfer charges are per person. Confirm your hotel location when booking.

Do I need a scuba diving certificate?
No. Intro diving is designed for beginners with no previous scuba certification or diving experience.
How many dives are included?
Two supervised introductory dives, each approximately 15–20 minutes, depending on conditions and individual comfort.
How deep will I dive?
The maximum depth for this experience is 6 metres. Your instructor will choose an appropriate depth based on your comfort, ability and conditions.
Can I try intro diving if I cannot swim?
Previous swimming experience is not necessarily required, but you must feel comfortable in the water, complete medical screening and be approved by the instructor. Participation is never guaranteed.
Can children join?
Intro diving is available from age 10, subject to medical screening and instructor approval. Younger children can join as accompanying snorkeling guests with a parent or legal guardian, under the applicable child pricing.
Can a snorkeler upgrade to diving?
Yes, guests aged 10 or above may request an upgrade. If medically eligible and approved by the instructor, and if space and equipment are available, they pay the price difference.
Is diving equipment included?
Yes. Full scuba equipment and snorkeling equipment are included in the applicable activity price.
Are transfers included?
Hotel transfers within Hurghada city are included. Transfers from Sahl Hasheesh, Makadi Bay and El Gouna cost €5 extra per person; Soma Bay and Safaga cost €10 extra per person.
Are professional photos and videos included?
No. Professional photography and video services are optional extras available for an additional fee.
